Irrigation Technician

The Pappas Restaurants Landscape Department is looking for an experienced and highly motivated team player to install and maintain the irrigation systems for our restaurants. An irrigation or technician license is preferred but not required. We offer training and promotion opportunities in a rapidly growing company. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license.

• Must enjoy working as a team while also taking independent initiative
• Must be able to communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors
• Strong organizational and time management skills are a plus
• Bilingual a plus (English & Spanish)
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, crawl, stoop, and work in a variety of physical conditions
• Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
• Know or be willing to learn common plant names, insect and disease identification, and selective pruning techniques
• Knowledge of irrigation system components
• 5+ years irrigation industry experience preferred
• Irrigation technician license preferred but not required
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
• Possess a valid driver’s license
