RTRUMPF Inc.’s registered Apprenticeship program allows you to earn while you learn. In this position, you will master your trade through a combination of on-the-job training and classroom instruction. We will cover the cost of your college tuition in a related manufacturing program. Upon completion of this 2 year / 4,000 hour program, the Connecticut Department of Labor’s Office of Apprenticeship Training provides an industry recognized certificate of completion.
** Duties & Responsibilities
*** Gain technical knowledge and TRUMPF product knowledge through participation in classroom training at TRMPF Training Department.
* Gain founded technical knowledge through successful completion of courses provided by colleges and/or technical institutions.
* Gain knowledge of TRUMPF internal processes through completion of assignments in various departments.
* Complete written reports after completion of each training segment to document training outcome.
* Participate in projects, Continuous Improvement and SYNCHRO activity.
* Travel to customer locations and/or other TRUMPF facilities in the US for training purposes.
* Apply knowledge and skills gained by joining the field service team after successful completion of apprenticeship program.
** Experience
* * Must have excellent learning skills and good communication and listening skills. Ability to follow instructions and organize to complete tasks fully and on time. Must be eligible to rent a vehicle for travel to customers and must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance.[](blob:)
