This position is not suitable for applicants with only welding experience. There are no welding duties in this position.
Responsibilities- Work alongside a Foreman/Superintendent to execute daily tasks.
- Perform general concrete repair including demolition, rebar installation, carpentry, concrete pours, and finishing.
- Operate power‑tools such as rotary hammers, chipping hammers, and hammer drills.
- Perform post‑tension repair, rebar/post‑tension installation, and stressing.
- Travel independently between projects.
- Focused on safety in all situations and environments.
- Comfortable with the use of standard PPE at construction sites.
- Team and solution oriented, with a proactive, professional, positive attitude.
- Experienced construction field technician or laborer.
- Familiarity with concrete repair, formwork, finishing, grouting, and placement/tying of rebar.
- Familiarity with installation and/or stressing of post‑tensioning systems.
- Knowledge of new construction and existing buildings.
- Comfort with working at heights.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Ability to lift material up to 50 lbs.
- Good hand‑eye coordination and capable of standing for extended periods.
- Motivated to work more than 40 hours per week.
- Desire to grow and advance within the company with commensurate salary growth.
Prior experience in post‑tensioning is ideal but not required. An ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, and ready to learn at a fast pace.
Bilingual in Spanish / English may be given preference.
Union ironworkers/rodbusters who can work union or open‑shop projects may be given preference.
Must provide own transportation, a valid driver's license, and pass a DMV record screening. Pre‑employment drug screen is required.
