Job SummaryWe continue to grow in Texas and Louisiana, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer based in Dallas, TX. This role involves providing on‑site troubleshooting, minor repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of CNC machine tool equipment across Texas and Louisiana, with occasional overnight stays. We equip you with the tools you need including a company vehicle, cell phone, laptop, and covered gas expenses, so you can concentrate on excellence in service and turning customers into loyal advocates.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct day‑to‑day field service, including installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on CNC machine tool equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve customer issues, providing sales support
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Represent the company professionally and ethically, aligning all actions with business standards.
- Take full ownership of service cases, projects, and related tasks, while maintaining accurate customer records and technical documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team and client needs.
- Must have experience with machine tools—ideally as a service engineer, operator, programmer, or internal maintenance with relevant exposure.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude is essential; candidates should have hands‑on experience with troubleshooting, minor repairs, and alignments on CNC or similar machinery.
- Ability to perform minor repairs, troubleshooting (mechanical/electrical), and basic installs/PMs on 2‑ and 3‑axis machines.
- Familiarity with PLCs and ability to read electrical/mechanical prints
- Curiosity and a strong desire to learn are critical; candidates should be self‑motivated, eager to develop technical skills, and willing to ask 'why' when troubleshooting.
- Must be able to work independently after initial training, with a strong work ethic and willingness to travel as needed.
- Hourly rate: $35–$40 per hour.
- Overtime:
Most engineers average 7–10 hours of overtime per week (totaling ~47–50 hours/week).
- Primary location:
Dallas, TX. - Role requires travel within Texas and Louisiana, with occasional overnight stays (approx. 40% of the time may require being away from home overnight, depending on project needs).
- Most work is centered around Dallas, but assignments can include Houston, Midland/Odessa, New Orleans, and other locations within the territory.
