- Installation:
Setting up new HVAC systems according to blueprints and wiring plans. - Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, and servicing of equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. - Troubleshooting:
Diagnosing problems with HVAC systems using specialized tools and techniques. - Repairs:
Fixing faulty components, replacing worn parts, and ensuring systems are functioning safely and efficiently. - Energy Management:
Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of energy-efficient HVAC systems. - Customer Service:
Interacting with clients, explaining maintenance needs, and addressing concerns.
- Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of refrigeration, electrical, and control systems.
- Problem-Solving:
The ability to identify and resolve issues with HVAC equipment. - Mechanical Aptitude:
Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment. - Safety Awareness: A commitment to following safety protocols and using equipment safely.
- Communication
Skills:
Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and supervisors. - Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various environments, and stand for extended periods.
- High school or equivalent
- Commercial HVAC experience
- Clear and valid driver's license
- EPA Certification a plus
- Texas HVAC Technician Registration a plus
- HVAC Trade School degree and OSHA 10 Hour training are a plus
- Back Flow License a plus
