Position: Hiring ASAP, Truck/Trailer Fleet Mechanic

Job details Salary $25 - $35 an hour (Based on Experience) Job Type Full-time; hours Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm Expected hours:
  • 40 per week.
  • Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred) Heavy duty diesel ASE Certification 3-5 years of heavy-duty equipment experience required.
  • CDL class A/B Driver's License (Preferred) Clean driving record Must have own tools.

  • Direct Job Description Primary Responsibilities Basic knowledge and understanding of repairing or replacing all structural, body and mechanical parts of a heavy-duty diesel truck.
  • Must be proficient with brakes, drive lines, and mechanical engine components on tractors.
  • Strong electrical experience with the ability to diagnose and repair all electrical systems, up to and including emissions and engine components.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance, ability to identify major components and repairing or replacing mechanic parts of a trailer.
Field Mechanic:
  • Will be required to travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of customer owned Fleet equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner.
  • Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
  • Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably.
  • Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety customer equipment while using a high degree of independent judgment.
  • Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner.
  • Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements.
