The Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technician has the day-to-day responsibility to perform preventative maintenance. It is critical that the PM Technician can execute their assigned schedule in a timely, efficient, and safe manner that meets the needs of the clients and remains within the guidelines and safety standards established by Managed Mobile. This position is a client‑facing role that will have a high degree of interaction with diverse groups of individuals.

The PM Technician is expected to make sure all units are safe, compliant, and reliable for our clients.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Perform A‑PM’s and B‑PM’s
• Perform DOT inspections
• In‑depth repair work on tractors and trailers – Class 8, no overhauls
• Perform PMs on trailers and limited minor repair work when needed
• Perform PMs on a variety of diesel engines including Class 6‑8 diesel engines
• Use computer diagnostics

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

• 5+ years of Mobile Technician experience
• Ability to have a flex schedule with daily start times;
  Monday through Friday
• 5+ years of diesel repair experience
• 5+ years of DOT inspections experience
• Knowledge of CVSA – out of service criteria
• Knowledge and experience (specific areas not listed)
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to pass a drug/background check
• Ability to pass MVR with a valid driver’s license and good driving record

WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT:

• 5+ years of Commercial Class 6‑8 diesel engine work
