Commercial Plumbing Assistant Superintendent

Location:

H&G Systems | Dallas‑Fort Worth Metroplex, TX (Offices in N. Dallas and Ft. Worth)

Full‑Time | Commercial Construction Leadership

Pay: $35.00 – $43.00 per hour based on experience

Overview

Take the next step from plumbing foreman into long‑term field leadership while supporting complex commercial projects with a trusted mechanical contractor.

Responsibilities

Assist with day‑to‑day field operations across multiple projects, coordinating labor, schedules, materials, and quality control. Responsibilities include reviewing project drawings and specifications, supporting manpower planning, identifying field issues early, maintaining communication between office and field teams, mentoring apprentices, and helping develop plumbing crews.

Qualifications
  • Active Texas Journeyman Plumbing License (required)
  • 5+ years of plumbing experience
  • Minimum 1‑2 years in a foreman or lead role
  • Strong commercial plumbing systems knowledge, including domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm, and gas systems
  • Medical gas experience is a plus
  • Understanding of plumbing and fuel gas codes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and submittals
  • Experience supporting crew coordination, scheduling, and jobsite operations
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
  • Team‑oriented leadership mindset with advancement goals
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving history
  • Strong professionalism and reliability
  • Desire to grow into a Superintendent leadership role
  • Willingness to pass a background check and drug test upon conditional offer of employment
