We are hiring an experienced Cable Technician II to install, test, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems. This role is ideal for a motivated technician who wants steady work, growth opportunities, and a strong team environment. Paid drive time to travel into Rayville, LA and a $50/day per diem for food with free lodging provided.
Responsibilities- Install and terminate CAT3 and CAT5 cabling, jacks, faceplates, and surface‑mount boxes
- Build and organize telecom closets including racks, patch panels, fiber hardware, and grounding
- Perform cable testing and troubleshooting using toners, meters, and continuity tools
- Identify active voice and data circuits
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
- Follow all safety and quality standards
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
- Ability to work on ladders, in ceilings, and in confined spaces
- Capacity to lift 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to distinguish cable colors and read small print
- Reliable attendance and a professional attitude

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
Contract to Hire position based out of Louisiana.
