Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

Stevens Transport/Paragon Leasing, LP fully services heavy-duty commercial tractors and trailers out of our Dallas, Texas terminal and is hiring Truck Body Technicians to perform a various major and minor structural repair on diesel trucks, including frames, fiberglass, and sheet metal replacement. Multiple shifts available.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities

* Collision repair

* Fabrication and welding

* Bondo work

* Installation and alignment of cab components

* Repairing damage to fiberglass, composites, steel, and aluminum

* Windshield replacements

* Priming, sealing, and painting

* Replacing fenders, panels, bumpers, and other body parts

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications

* You must have your own tools

* 4+ years doing Bondo work

* 4+ years in collision repair

* Collision repair certification a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Collision repair experience on Kenworth, Freightliner, and Peterbilt trucks.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

* Maneuvering around, in, on, and under trucks/tight spaces to properly inspect and diagnose problems

* Standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body movements

* Using hands to handle, control or feel

* Climbing ladders, stairs, and platforms

* Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds

* The work environment includes exposure to high decibels of noise, temperature, weather variations, metal welding processes and chemicals which may include solvents, undercoating, paint, and caulking.

Work Experience:

* 4+ years doing Bondo work

* 4+ years in collision repair
