The City of Dallas is looking for a Water Meter Technician I to perform entry-level work in the testing, maintenance, and repair of water meters for the Dallas Water Utility. Responsibilities include evaluating and checking meters, performing mechanical maintenance, and assisting with equipment issues.
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, and experience in mechanical or construction fields is preferred. A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate city vehicles are required.
