We are seeking an experienced Welding Superintendent to oversee welding operations across commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This position is ideal for a highly skilled welding professional with strong leadership experience who can manage field crews, maintain quality standards, coordinate manpower, and drive project success while ensuring safety and craftsmanship remain top priorities.

• Starting pay at $40.00+ per hour based on experience and qualifications

• Lead welding operations across multiple commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects
• Coordinate daily field activities, manpower assignments, schedules, and project priorities
• Supervise welding crews and ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards
• Review blueprints, weld maps, piping drawings, and project documentation
• Monitor weld quality and ensure compliance with applicable codes, procedures, and customer requirements
• Mentor welders, foremen, and field personnel to support workforce development and technical growth
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field leadership teams to maintain productivity and project schedules
• Identify and resolve field challenges while maintaining quality and efficiency
• Promote and enforce jobsite safety standards and company policies
• Support project planning, resource allocation, and operational coordination across multiple projects
• Maintain project documentation, field reports, and workforce tracking as required

• Minimum of 10 years of welding experience in commercial or industrial environments
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience as a foreman, superintendent, lead welder, or similar role
• Strong commercial and industrial pipe welding experience
• Current 6G Welding Certification required
• Advanced proficiency with stick welding and MIG welding processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld maps, specifications, and piping drawings
• Strong understanding of weld quality control procedures and inspection requirements
• Experience coordinating manpower, field operations, and production schedules
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement

• Stainless steel welding experience
• Additional welding certifications or technical training
• Experience with industrial process piping systems
• Experience leading large commercial or industrial welding crews

• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Strong professionalism, accountability, and leadership presence
• Ability to work across multiple project sites throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
