Career Strategies is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Dallas, TX
. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who is professional, dependable, and ready to start work immediately.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and general property upkeep. You will interact directly with and work collaboratively with the property management team to ensure a safe, clean, and well‑maintained living environment.

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC
  , plumbing
  , electrical
  , and appliance systems
• Perform drywall repairs and painting between tenant move‑outs
• Maintain and repair stairs
  , railings
  , flooring
  , and fixtures
• Groundskeeping
  : mowing, weeding, trimming, replacing bulbs, and general exterior upkeep
• Cleaning
  :
  Prepare vacant units and maintain cleanliness in shared amenities (lobby, clubhouse, gym, etc.)

• Proven experience in apartment or residential maintenance
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Plumbing
    : faucets, toilets, disposals, water heaters, etc.
  • Electrical
    : outlets, switches, lighting, ceiling fans
  • Appliance repair
    : refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers/dryers
  • HVAC systems
• Basic tools required for maintenance tasks
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Professional, courteous, and reliable demeanor
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
