About the Position

Are you ready to make an impact? As Power Design expands into mechanical work, we are looking for a Pipefitter Foreman to play a critical leadership role in the success of our new projects. This means we’ll need someone to ensure all projects maintain a high level of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You’ll have access to innovative technologies such as company‑provided iPads and smartphones, and you’ll travel to our 16,000‑square‑foot training facility for customized training courses at our headquarters in St.Petersburg,

Florida.

Position Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the project Superintendent and other trades to oversee the assigned scope, including the management of material and manpower.
  • Accountable for enforcing and promoting high quality and safety standards.
  • Utilize technology such as company‑provided iPad and smartphone to ensure the job gets done on time and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on the designated scope.
Qualifications / Experience
  • OSHA
    30 certification preferred.
  • Experience with hydronic piping systems, chiller, boiler, and water‑source heat‑pump refrigeration systems.
  • Progressive mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing leaders who love using technology and want a clear career path.
  • Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion‑dollar projects.
  • Active journeyman or master mechanical or plumbing license preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of the IMC, IPC, and IBC Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of managing plumbing systems and/or HVAC air‑distribution systems a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management and construction technology applications such as Bluebeam, Pro Core, BIM
    360, Crew Connect, Field Wire, and/or Open Space preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel to other Power Design project sites within the state of Florida as needed.
