Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

Position Location: Plano, TX (serves greater Dallas, TX area)

• Install, repair, and maintain wet, dry, pre‑action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow prev enters, fire hydrants, underground piping and fire pumps.
• Conduct fire sprinkler, fire pump and other water‑based equipment inspections and testing.
• Document deficiencies and impairments noted during inspections or service work and follow reporting procedures.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performed.
• Generate reports using Siemens digital tools.
• Complete service‑ticket documentation before leaving customer site, including obtaining customer signature.
• Provide instructions and training to customer personnel on proper system operations.
• Work overtime when required.
• Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Report to the local supervisor and follow direction from a mentor and lead technician.

• High school diploma or state‑recognized GED.
• No prior work experience required.
• Willingness and ability to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet.
• Team‑player with strong customer‑service orientation.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
• Ability to follow and maintain highly structured schedules.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license with limited violations and eligibility to participate in the Siemens fleet vehicle program.

• Pay range for this position is $46,553 – $79,805 annually, subject to budget and experience.
