Crane Operator - Tower Crane

DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL

Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Tower Crane Operator for the BTX/Terminal F Concrete in Dallas, TX.

The Tower Crane Operator’s primary function is to operate a tower crane on the job site to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building type structures. Operators may also assist with other duties around the job site as needed.

• Operate a tower crane to hoist and lift materials, machines, and other products.
• Apply knowledge of operating procedures for loading and unloading materials.
• Perform normal maintenance on equipment, including oiling, greasing, servicing, and adjustments; conduct daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Complete required paperwork and other documentation.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• 3–5 years of operating experience preferred.
• Must possess one of the required certifications to operate applicable equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Requires ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors.
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
