The HVAC Warranty Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and documenting issues related to HVAC systems under manufacturer or installation warranty. This role ensures warranty claims are accurately processed, systems are repaired per guidelines, and customers receive prompt, professional service. The technician also serves as a liaison between customers, the service department, and manufacturers.

• Install and maintain HVAC systems according to industry standards.
• Diagnose and repair issues with heating and cooling equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems (including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini splits, etc.) under warranty.
• Determine the root cause of system issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Replace or repair faulty parts in accordance with warranty coverage.
• Accurately document findings, repairs made, and parts replaced.
• Ensure all warranty paperwork is complete and submitted in a timely manner to manufacturers and internal systems.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding the nature of the issue, warranty coverage, and work performed.
• Provide excellent customer service to maintain client satisfaction.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company standards, local codes, and manufacturer specifications.
• Stay current on warranty procedures, product recalls, and updates from manufacturers.
• Work closely with installation and service teams to ensure seamless warranty support.
• Coordinate with parts and inventory departments to ensure availability of necessary components.
• Maintain accurate service records and submit detailed reports to warranty administrators and service managers.
• Report recurring issues or product defects to management for potential escalation to manufacturers.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in HVAC.
• EPA Certification & State AC registration REQUIRED
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC service or installation, with warranty experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must own tools.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
