Position Location: Plano, TX branch, serving greater Dallas area, Texas, United States.
Fire Sprinkler Service Technician – perform service, repairs, and inspections of fire sprinkler systems and related water‑based equipment in accordance with national and local standards. Specialists bring knowledge of state/federal regulations and ensure proper system functioning to safeguard lives and property.
Responsibilities- Assist with or perform installation, repair, and maintenance of wet, dry, pre‑action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow prev enters, fire hydrants, underground and fire pumps.
- Conduct inspections and testing of fire sprinkler, fire pump and other water‑based equipment.
- Document deficiencies accurately and follow required reporting processes.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performed.
- Generate reports using Siemens digital tools.
- Complete service ticket documentation before leaving customer site, including customer signature.
- Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operations and assist with training.
- Work overtime when needed.
- Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
- Report to the local Supervisor and receive direction from a mentor and Lead Technician.
- High school diploma or state‑recognised GED.
- No prior work experience required.
- Willingness to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet.
- Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to customers.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Customer‑facing and customer service skills.
- Ability and willingness to follow and maintain highly structured schedules.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Legally authorised to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- Valid driver’s licence with limited violations and eligibility to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle programme.
Pay Range – $46,553 – $79,805 annually (actual wage may vary based on budget and candidate experience).
