Concrete Repair Laborer

Job Overview

Structured Technologies VSL seeks a construction field technician with no welding duties required. The role focuses on concrete repair and post-tensioning tasks across multiple projects in Fort Worth, Texas and beyond.

• Work alongside a Foreman/Superintendent to execute daily tasks
• Perform general concrete repair (demolition, rebar installation, carpentry, concrete pours, finishing) and operate power-tools (rotary hammers, chipping hammers, hammer drills)
• Conduct post-tension repair, rebar/post-tension installation and stressing
• Travel independently between projects

• Focused on safety in all situations and environments
• Comfortable with standard PPE at construction sites
• Team and solution oriented, proactive, professional, positive attitude
• Experienced construction field technician or laborer
• Advantageous if familiar with concrete repair, formwork, finishing, grouting, and placement/tying of rebar
• Advantageous if familiar with installation and/or stressing of post-tensioning systems
• Familiarity with new construction and existing buildings
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to read and speak English
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Good hand-eye coordination; able to stand for extended periods
• Motivated to work more than 40 hours per week
• Desire to grow and advance within the company with commensurate salary growth

• Must provide own transportation and a valid driver’s license; pass DMV record screening
