Landscape Crew Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Crew Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the installation of commercial and residential systems, both conventional and 2-wire systems. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage a team, ensure the maintenance of equipment, and deliver high-quality workmanship.

Crew Leader Responsibilities
  • Lead the landscape crew in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
  • Read and interpret plans and blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
  • Flag out heads at job sites for new installations per plan, make necessary adjustments due to obstructions or incorrect measurements, and seek assistance from managers when needed.
  • Operate trenching equipment, including riders, walk-behind, and hand tools.
  • Ensure all trucks and equipment are checked daily for safety and maintenance purposes.
  • Obtain necessary pipes and parts for daily use or coordinate with managers for delivery.
  • Assign tasks to crew members and foster a team environment to ensure everyone understands their role.
  • Uphold high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship in all tasks.
Crew Leader Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in the installation of commercial and residential irrigation systems, including conventional and 2-wire systems.
  • Able to read and write proficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to read and understand plans and blueprints.
  • Driver's license is a plus.
  • Irrigators Technician's License is a plus or willingness to obtain in the future.
  • Takes pride in their workmanship and craftsmanship.
  • Proactive and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
