Pay Rate: $30.17/Hour
Shift Timings: Weekend Days Shift, 05:25 AM - 06:05 PM
Job Description:
The RS Avionics Installer II assists in the installation, modification, removal, and testing of avionics and electrical systems on aircraft. The role involves fabricating and installing wiring harnesses, terminating electrical components, and performing functional tests under minimal supervision while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
Responsibilities:
- Install, modify, and remove avionics/electrical components and systems
- Fabricate and route wire harnesses and perform terminations
- Perform ring-out, continuity checks, and functional testing
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Ensure work meets FAA, safety, and customer requirements
- Maintain logs, documentation, and inspection readiness
- Follow FOD prevention, 5S, and tool control procedures
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Avionics/electrical systems installation and troubleshooting
- Blueprint and schematic reading
- Wiring harness fabrication and termination
- FAA regulatory compliance knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Computer literacy and documentation skills
- Strong communication in English
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics OR
- 2 years related avionics work experience OR
- Avionics certificate + 1 year related experience
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
