* ** Fire Sprinkler Service Technician
** perform service, repairs, and inspections associated with fire sprinkler systems and other water-based equipment in accordance with all national and local standards. Our Fire Sprinkler Service Technician specialized skills, knowledge surround state/federal regulations, and commitment to proper system functioning play a critical role in safeguarding lives, property, and businesses from the devastating effects of fires.

** As a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician, you will:*
* + Assist with or perform installation, repair, and maintenance of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow prev enters, fire hydrants, underground and fire pumps.

+ Work well with others, take ownership, be a team player, and act with integrity.

+ Assist with or perform installation, repair, and maintenance of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow prev enters, fire hydrants, underground and fire pumps.

+ Assist with or perform fire sprinkler, fire pump and other water-based equipment inspections and testing.

+ Properly document deficiencies/impairments noted during inspections or service work and follow required process of reporting deficiencies while on-site.

+ Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performed.

+ Generate reports within Siemens digital tools.

+ Complete service ticket documentation before leaving customer site to include customer signature.

+ Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operations and assist with training.

+ Work overtime when needed.

+ Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.

+ This position reports to the local Supervisor and takes direction from a mentor and Lead Technician.

Basic Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or state-recognized GED

+ No prior work experience is required

+ Must be willing and able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet

+ Must be able to demonstrate:

+ The ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers

+ Willingness to learn and grow within the company

+ Customer-facing and customer service skills

+ Ability and willingness to follow and maintain highly structured schedules

+ Verbal and written communication skills in English

+

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

+ Must possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program
