Idealease with Southwest International Trucks is hiring a highly skilled Preventative Maintenance Diesel Technician in Dallas, Texas. The Preventative Maintenance Diesel Technician will have a full‑time schedule, with access to full benefits and company incentives.

• Routine and preventative maintenance repairs and minor repairs.
• Use location tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Doing preventative maintenance repairs – like replacing or rotating tires – and complete vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on diesel engine vehicles, refrigeration equipment, lift gates and trailers.
• Partnering with your managers to learn new skills using technician training and hands‑on coaching.
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• Individuals will be expected to independently diagnose, repair and/or replace major components.
• Must be 18 years of age
• 1 year hands‑on diesel mechanic experience
• Must be able to read and comprehend instruction manuals and diagnostic charts
• Computer skills & data entry (diagnostics experience preferred)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; CDL a plus
• Possess own tools and toolbox
