The  
** Building Engineer
** is responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repair of building systems and equipment. This role ensures the facility is operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable regulations while providing a high level of service to tenants and stakeholders.

** Pay: $38.00 - $40.00/hour.*

* Key Responsibilities:

*
* + Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems

+ Monitor and maintain building automation systems (BAS/BMS)

+ Conduct regular inspections of facility systems and identify potential issues

+ Respond to service requests and troubleshoot equipment problems in a timely manner

+ Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company policies

+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs

+ Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance

+ Support energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability efforts

+ Assist with emergency response and after-hours issues as needed

+ Maintain clean, organized, and safe mechanical and work areas

* Qualifications:

*
* + High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred

+ 3+ years of experience in building maintenance or engineering role

+ Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems

+

Experience with building automation systems preferred

+ Relevant certifications (EPA, HVAC, or Journeyman license) a plus
