Location
Dallas, TX – Onsite
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters, replacing belts, and proper lubrication.
- Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring related to fan coils, water source heat pumps, air handling units, rooftop units, cooling towers, and condenser tubes.
- Maintain and inspect equipment to identify potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks.
- Perform warranty service application by inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality of HVAC equipment and components.
- Direct LevelI technicians through hands‑on demonstrations of all necessary steps to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Introduction to centrifugal rebuilds from Lead and LevelIII technicians.
- Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely manner.
- Interact with customers by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call.
- Explain technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Participate in available training through regional technicians, off‑site learning modules, and Daikin Learning.
- Maintain all required certifications and continue to develop new skill sets.
- Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are always upheld.
- Follow all OSHA and Daikin Applied safety policies and procedures.
- 3+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Rotational Emergency Call Support as required.
- Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district.
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Commercial HVAC Industry Experience.
- EPA approved Universal Technician Certification.
- OSHA
10 within 90 days of hire (Daikin provides this training during onboarding). - Current first aid / CPR card.
- Factory Certified Training, Online Training Courses, or other professional on‑the‑job training in the HVAC Industry.

The typical hourly pay range for this position in Texas is $27.60 – $44.29. Individual base pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
