General Foreman

We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to join our team.

Position Summary

As the General Foreman, you will oversee multiple electrical crews and supervise field operations on commercial and/or industrial construction projects. You will coordinate manpower, manage schedules, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain a safe, productive job site while working closely with project managers, superintendents, and clients.

Your Day‑to‑Day
  • Supervise and coordinate electrical foremen, journeymen, apprentices, and subcontractors.
  • Plan daily and weekly work activities to meet project schedules and milestones.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and labor resources.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and company quality standards.
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Identify and resolve field issues while minimizing project delays.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower logs, and production tracking.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and customers.
  • Mentor and develop field personnel to build strong, high‑performing teams.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
  • 10+ years of commercial or industrial electrical construction experience.
  • 5+ years in a leadership role as a Foreman or General Foreman.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple crews and large‑scale projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
