General ForemanWe are seeking an experienced General Foreman to join our team.
Position SummaryAs the General Foreman, you will oversee multiple electrical crews and supervise field operations on commercial and/or industrial construction projects. You will coordinate manpower, manage schedules, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain a safe, productive job site while working closely with project managers, superintendents, and clients.
Your Day‑to‑Day- Supervise and coordinate electrical foremen, journeymen, apprentices, and subcontractors.
- Plan daily and weekly work activities to meet project schedules and milestones.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and labor resources.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and company quality standards.
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Identify and resolve field issues while minimizing project delays.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower logs, and production tracking.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and customers.
- Mentor and develop field personnel to build strong, high‑performing teams.
- 10+ years of commercial or industrial electrical construction experience.
- 5+ years in a leadership role as a Foreman or General Foreman.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Proven ability to manage multiple crews and large‑scale projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
