Hot Foot Recruiters is hiring Entry-Level Riggers to support equipment movement and installation activities for a large-scale data center / industrial equipment installation project in the Dallas and Austin, TX areas.
This is a hands‑on role ideal for dependable candidates who are comfortable with physical work, willing to learn rigging and equipment movement procedures, and able to follow safety instructions in a fast‑paced project environment.
Position: Entry‑Level Rigger
Location: Dallas, TX and Austin, TX Areas | On‑Site
Type: Full‑Time | Project‑Based / Contract
Pay Rate: $24/hr
Schedule: Full‑Time | Schedule subject to project needs
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities- Assist rigging teams with unloading, staging, moving, and positioning equipment.
- Help prepare work areas, equipment paths, and staging zones.
- Support movement of racks, cabinets, and other equipment under direction from experienced riggers and leads.
- Assist with unpacking, protective material removal, cleanup, and debris management.
- Help inspect equipment for visible damage and report concerns to leads.
- Support basic documentation tasks such as equipment labels, serial numbers, and tracking records.
- Follow instructions from Head Riggers, Experienced Riggers, supervisors, and project leadership.
- Maintain safe work practices and follow all site PPE requirements.
- Help keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Perform additional general labor, rigging support, and equipment movement duties as assigned.
- Previous construction, warehouse, moving, general labor, manufacturing, installation, or equipment handling experience preferred, but not required.
- Willingness to learn rigging, equipment movement, and data center installation procedures.
- Comfortable performing physical work, including standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling during the shift.
- Able to follow directions carefully and work safely around heavy equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Comfortable working in active construction, industrial, or data center environments.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Reliable transportation to project sites in the Dallas/Austin areas.
- OSHA 10 is a plus, but not required.
