Role Description The Installer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. The Installer is responsible for measuring, handling, and installing glass, mirrors, doors and related hardware at commercial job sites. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting work orders and drawings, preparing materials and tools, safely transporting and positioning glass, and ensuring accurate, secure installation. The role involves working with hand and power tools, sealing and finishing installations, cleaning work areas, and communicating with project managers and customers to resolve on-site issues.

The Installer is expected to follow safety protocols, adhere to project timelines, and contribute to a professional and respectful work environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with glass, mirror, window, and door installation, including handling, measuring, and fitting materials.
  • Proficiency using hand and power tools, basic carpentry or construction skills, and ability to read tape measures and simple drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills on job sites, and commitment to safe work practices.
  • Ability to work on ladders and lifts, lift and carry heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
  • Reliable transportation to job sites within the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and willingness to work standard full-time hours, with occasional overtime as needed.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to follow instructions and work respectfully with coworkers and customers.
  • Previous experience in glazing, construction, or a related trade is preferred; relevant certifications or training in safety or construction are a plus.
