AV Service & Maintenance Technician

Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per annum + Benefits

An established AV systems integrator is looking for an experienced AV Service & Maintenance Technician to support customers across the Dallas area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys fault finding, troubleshooting and maintaining professional AV systems. You'll work across a variety of commercial environments, ensuring systems remain fully operational while delivering excellent customer service.

• Diagnose, repair and maintain commercial AV systems
• Troubleshoot audio, video and control system faults
• Install and replace AV equipment where required
• Service conferencing, digital signage, distributed audio and presentation systems
• Install, terminate and test Cat5e, Cat6, HDMI, DVI and other AV cabling
• Carry out preventative maintenance and system health checks
• Communicate directly with customers and provide technical support
• Work with manufacturers to resolve technical issues
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately
• Maintain vehicle stock, tools and spare equipment
• Support and mentor junior technicians when required
• Escalate complex technical issues where appropriate
• Follow all health and safety procedures

• 3+ years of commercial AV installation or service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience with professional AV systems, conferencing and control systems
• Excellent cable termination and installation skills
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals
• Ability to read technical drawings and system documentation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
• CTS, CTS I, NSCA or CEDIA certification is desirable
• Valid driver's licence
