Dallas Water Utilities is seeking a Water Meter Reader to read residential, commercial, industrial, and park meters for accurate billing. You will input reads using a handheld device, identify issues in meter boxes, and coordinate with engineers on fire-line usage. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.
Expect to handle 200–500 reads daily, operate safety gear, and train others in field procedures. Excellent customer communication is essential.
