Electrical Superintendent

An established electrical contracting firm delivering high-quality, large-scale electrical projects across commercial, industrial, and institutional markets is seeking an Electrical Superintendent in the DFW, Texas market.

About the Role

The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all on-site aspects of assigned electrical projects—from daily operations and scheduling to safety and quality control. This position plays a key leadership role in driving productivity, maintaining project timelines, and ensuring all work meets the highest standards of performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily field operations and enforce a strong "Safety First" culture.
  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and field leaders to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Review project plans, drawings, and specifications; communicate scope and expectations to field teams.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower forecasts, and task plans.
  • Manage material procurement, tool planning, and prefabrication efforts.
  • Track labor productivity, budgets, and job costs to maintain profitability.
  • Conduct site meetings, inspections, and QA/QC reviews.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop field supervisors and crew members.
  • Support timely and accurate documentation, including RFIs, as-builts, and close-out packages.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and team members to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of electrical industry experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Valid TDLR Electrical Journeyman License.
  • OSHA 30 Certification required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with a focus on planning and execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
