Calibration Technician

We are seeking a Calibration Technician to support the testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic test and measurement equipment in a fast-paced technical lab environment. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with electronics experience who enjoy hands-on technical work and are interested in industries such as telecommunications, aerospace, defense, and advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calibrate electronic test equipment using manual and automated procedures
• Perform functional testing and troubleshooting on equipment
• Upgrade firmware and verify equipment functionality
• Document service activity and equipment history in inventory systems
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment
• Identify and test parts and accessories for electronic equipment
• Support internal teams and customers with technical questions
• Follow established lab procedures, safety standards, and quality guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–2 years of experience in electronics calibration, repair, or related technical work preferred
• Military PMEL experience is a plus
• Basic understanding of electronic test equipment and calibration processes
• Familiarity with RF, telecom, oscilloscopes, optical, or general-purpose electronic equipment preferred
• Basic computer skills for documentation and test equipment operation
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities in a technical lab environment

Additional Information:

Position may require overtime and occasional on-call support. Physical requirements include standing, lifting, bending, and working with electronic equipment throughout the day. Opportunity for long-term growth and conversion based on performance.
