The Installation Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based in Dallas, Texas. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, transporting, assembling, and installing high-end furniture, artwork, and accessories for residential, commercial, hospitality, and model home projects.

Successful candidates are dependable, detail-oriented professionals who understand that every installation represents the final and most visible stage of a client's project. Installation Specialists work closely with project leaders to ensure every installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload furnishings for local and out-of-town installations
• Assemble and install furnishings, accessories, and décor according to project plans and designer specifications
• Security mount artwork, mirrors and other wall hangings
• Properly use moving equipment, installation tools, protective materials, and other equipment without causing damage to furnishings or property
• Protect clients' homes, businesses, and furnishings throughout every phase of the installation process
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and warehouse work areas
• Communicate effectively with project leaders and team members throughout each project
• Follow all company safety procedures, operational standards, and installation best practices
• Represent DESI professionally while interacting with clients, designers, contractors, and other trades
• Travel as needed to support installation projects throughout Texas and occasionally outside the state

• Previous experience in furniture installation, warehousing, logistics, commercial moving, FF&E installation, or a related field is preferred
• Experience assembling furniture and safely handling high-value furnishings, artwork, mirrors, and accessories
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools commonly used in furniture installation
• Strong understanding of proper lifting, moving, wrapping, and furniture protection techniques
• Ability to read installation plans, layouts, and project instructions
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture and work on your feet throughout the day
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to our Dallas facility
• High school diploma or equivalent
