- Perform fiber ribbon splicing on high-count cables in active data center environments
- Complete ribbon splicing, including spider ribbon fiber, on tight timelines
- Prep and splice large cable counts as they arrive on site Work efficiently to meet daily splice production expectations
- Move between job sites as project needs shift
- Fiber splicing experience with the following cable configurations: 8x64 (minimum required) or 69x13
- Experience with ribbon splicing or closely related splicing methods
- Experience prepping cables including: 17/28, 8/64, 69/12, 34/56
- Familiarity with data center fiber environments strongly preferred
- Requirements Minimum 2 years of fiber splicing experience
- Ability to produce approximately 90-144 ribbon splices per day
For candidates who are not local to Dallas or San Antonio, TX housing will be paid for, and you will also receive $68 per diem for each day you work.
Hourly pay for this role will sit anywhere from $28-38/hr. depending on level of expertise.
