DC Power Technician Level 2

Alamon Inc. is seeking a DC Power Technician Level 2 in Dallas, TX to install, troubleshoot, and maintain DC power systems for telecom and utility networks. Working in small, mobile crews, you will perform battery and rectifier installs, wiring, terminations, commissioning, testing, and preventive maintenance at customer sites. Role includes reading schematics, using test equipment, completing field documentation, and following strict safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade DC power systems, batteries, and rectifiers at telecom and utility sites
• Perform wiring, terminations, labeling, and cable management to company and customer standards
• Commission, test, and troubleshoot DC power equipment using meters and test sets
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, site plans, and work orders
• Complete accurate field documentation, photos, and as-built updates
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies on every site
• Coordinate daily activities with crew leads, project managers, and customer contacts
• Travel to regional job sites and adapt to varying field conditions and schedules
