Job Duties
- Lead the installation of HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and other related components.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute installation tasks effectively
- Coordinate with project managers to schedule installations and ensure materials and equipment are available as needed.
- Conduct site assessments to determine the best location for equipment placement and identify any potential obstacles.
- Install, connect, and test HVAC equipment and controls according to the manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Inspect completed installations to verify compliance with building codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or installation issues and implement solutions to resolve problems promptly.
- Provide 3 training and mentorship to junior installers, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring proper handling of tools and materials.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address any questions or concerns regarding the installation
- Keep accurate records of installation activities, including labor hours, materials used, and project expenses.
- Stay informed about advancements in HVAC Technology, codes, and regulations, participating in training programs as needed to maintain proficiency.
- 3+ years of HVAC Installation experience.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in HVAC installation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
