Master Refrigeration Technician

Metroplex is offering a $3,500 Sign‑on bonus! Metroplex Refrigeration is seeking a Senior or Master Refrigeration Technician to service and maintain commercial ice machines and refrigeration equipment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and customer service in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment.

• Service commercial refrigeration systems, including:
  • Ice Machines
  • Walk‑in coolers and freezers
  • Reach‑in units
  • Small self‑contained equipment
  • Beverage equipment
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair medium- and low-temperature refrigeration systems with minimal supervision.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Respond to service calls, including participation in a 24/7 on‑call rotation.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Follow all safety protocols, especially when handling refrigerants.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients.
• Operate company vehicles safely and use appropriate safety equipment.
• Support additional geographic service areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC/refrigeration.
• Strong ability to independently diagnose and repair mechanical systems.
• Technical training through trade school, RSES, or equivalent experience.

High school diploma or GED; completion of an accredited HVAC/R apprenticeship or technical trade school program.
