Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Embedded Electronic Security Technician II to support a high-profile customer site in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of electronic security systems, with a primary focus on C-CURE access control environments. The technician will serve as the on-site security systems subject matter expert, coordinating service activities, preventative maintenance, inventory management, and security system upgrade projects.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in physical security systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with regional offices, contractors, and end users.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic security systems, including:
- Physical Access Control Systems (PACS)
- Integrated physical security platforms
- Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and support Software House C-CURE access control systems.
- Coordinate and manage installation and service tickets from project initiation through closeout.
- Assist with security system design, procurement, logistics, installation, sustainment, and lifecycle replacement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of security equipment, spare parts, and system components.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and field-device issues affecting security operations.
- Support system programming, configuration updates, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with regional operations teams to coordinate maintenance schedules, service events, and project activities.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and end users as required.
- Ensure all work complies with customer security standards, government regulations, and company policies.
- Travel regionally to support preventive maintenance activities, project kickoffs, installations, and project closeouts.
- 5+ years of experience installing, servicing, and maintaining physical security systems.
- 3+ years of experience supporting C-CURE access control environments.
- Strong working knowledge of PACS, IDS, VSS, and integrated electronic security solutions.
- Experience troubleshooting security hardware, software, and system integrations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency using standard computer applications and system management tools.
