Job DescriptionA local Dallas company is looking for a Journeyman Plumber.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber helper for one of our clients in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on various plumbing projects. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
M-F 7a-3:30p
Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Perform pipe threading, welding, and other necessary construction plumbing tasks.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete plumbing installations.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure comprehensive project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and building codes throughout all plumbing operations.
- Proven experience as a Plumber helper or in a similar role within the construction & commercial industry.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Commercial Plumbing experience
- Regularly lift 40 lbs
- Valid Drivers License
- Experience using power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently (have your own).
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and a good communicator – written and verbal via email, text, phone
- Certification or licensure as required by local regulations is preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred
This job entails attending and servicing commercial plumbing calls: provide estimates according to company provided formula, provide good customer service.
Among other tasks, the person for this job is expected to be capable of performing standard plumbing jobs with no supervision, or very minimal.
