About the roleMIINC Mechanical is seeking entry level Sheet Metal Installers to support our commercial sheet metal crews on project sites. This is an opportunity to develop hands‑on skills in sheet metal installation while working alongside experienced installers and foremen.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety‑minded, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a hands‑on construction environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with commercial sheet metal installation.
- Carry, stage, and organize ductwork, materials, and tools.
- Position and install ductwork and related components under direction of experienced crew members.
- Seal ductwork and assist with preparing systems for installation.
- Follow direction from Journeymen, Foremen, and other experienced field personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements.
- Support the crew as needed to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Construction, HVAC, sheet metal, or mechanical experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn commercial sheet metal installation.
- Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting and moving materials.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and following jobsite requirements.
