Pavement Striping Technician

Lucky Stripes LLC is hiring a Pavement Striping Technician in Lexington, KY to support safe, attractive access to our retail locations. In this hands-on role, you'll prepare surfaces, measure and lay out parking lots, apply paint and thermoplastic striping, stencils, and symbols, and maintain equipment. You'll inspect work for accuracy, follow safety and environmental guidelines, and coordinate with store management to minimize customer disruption.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, comfortable working outdoors, able to lift materials and operate striping machinery, and committed to reliability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate pavement striping and line marking equipment for parking lots and access areas
• Measure, mark, and lay out stall lines, directional arrows, ADA spaces, and other symbols
• Prepare pavement surfaces by cleaning, blowing, and masking as needed
• Apply paint and thermoplastic markings to required thickness and alignment standards
• Inspect completed work for accuracy, visibility, and compliance with site requirements
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning on striping tools and equipment
• Follow all safety, PPE, and environmental handling procedures
• Coordinate work timing with store management to limit customer disruption
• Load, unload, and secure materials, paint, and equipment for each job
• Document completed work and report issues or maintenance needs to supervisors
