SUMMARY:

We are currently for an entry level Trailer Body Technician****. This position would be responsible for repairing trailer body imperfections, repairing insulation, painting, and welding repairs. This is great for anyone wanting to start a career in Trailer Body Maintenance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities

• Welding; minor and major body repairs

• Removing decals from Trailers

• Repair or removing insulations from Trailers

• Working with metal panels by straightening and completing bondo work as needed

• Realigning structural components

• Communicating with management about additional damage beyond original repair orders

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

• Complying with all company, OHSA and EPA rules and guidelines

• All other duties as assigned

• Strong Communication Skills.
• A pre-employment physical and drug screening is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic welding skills
• Basic painting experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Maneuvering around, in, on, and under trailers/tight spaces

• Climbing ladders, stairs, and platforms
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
