One Royal Culture Short Story
We have current openings for Laborers for our infrastructure projects at the DFW Airport
The Laborer plays a key role working with and alongside other skilled trades working on underground excavation for underground utilities pipe installation.
Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:
- Mobilization and demobilization of the jobsite; set-up, break down, staging, clean up, etc.
- Assisting electricians and operating engineers in the placement of underground utilities.
- Perform concrete work including pours and form work.
- Perform basic general labor procedures such as shoveling, trenching, grading, cribbing, lifting and carrying heavy materials, loading and unloading trucks.
- Operate and maintain good care of tools and company vehicles
- Assist other crew members, operators, and other skilled labor when needed
- Backfill trenches and pits, hand dig, use of shovels
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by the supervisor

- Experience with airfield, underground utilities, or civil a plus
Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
Must have experience working with duct banks and conduit
Experience working with concrete pouring/forming a plus
Class A CDL license is preferred
Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
High School Diploma or GED equivalent

While performing the duties of this job, employees must be able to regularly sit or stand, movement to include, but not limited to, walking, bending, reaching above/below shoulder, crouching, carrying, pushing.
- Must be eligible to drive and operate Royal Electric vehicles
- Must be eligible to pass airport badging process
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Willing to travel throughout Texas
- Based on experience $22 - $30/hour
- This is a non-exempt role.
