Your ImpactAs a Structural Steel Installer, you will build and install the structural systems that support mission-critical data center infrastructure across the United States. This role plays a vital part in the construction of data centers by installing structural framing, support systems, hot and cold aisle containment (H/CAC), Unistrut systems, and miscellaneous steel components that support electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
Successful candidates have experience working with structural steel, interpreting construction drawings, operating safely at heights, and using industry-standard installation tools. Individuals with rigging, welding, or metal building construction experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Install structural steel including beams, columns, braces, embeds, miscellaneous steel, and support framing.
- Install structural supports, Unistrut systems, seismic bracing, and steel assemblies for mission-critical electrical infrastructure.
- Read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, blueprints, layout plans, and installation details.
- Align, level, and secure structural members using spud wrenches, drift pins, impact tools, torque wrenches, and other industry-standard equipment.
- Assemble and install bolted structural steel connections in accordance with engineering specifications.
- Verify layout, elevation, plumb, level, and alignment prior to final installation.
- Assist with rigging, signaling, and guiding structural steel during crane picks when qualified.
- Install anchors and verify torque requirements per project specifications.
- Utilize lasers, tape measures, levels, and layout equipment to ensure accurate installation.
- Operate aerial lifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, Telehandler and other approved equipment safely.
- Perform field modifications and basic fabrication as required.
- Perform welding when qualified and authorized (preferred but not required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific safety requirements.
- Collaborate with field leadership and fellow crew members to meet production schedules while maintaining exceptional quality.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Two or more years of structural steel erection, steel installation, industrial construction, commercial construction, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and shop drawings.
- Experience working safely at heights while utilizing fall protection.
- Experience operating aerial lifts.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (OSHA 30 is a plus).
- Ability to travel extensively to project locations throughout the United States.
- Valid driver's license preferred.

Must frequently lift up to 75 lbs, work at heights, climb ladders and lifts, wear PPE, and perform physical construction activities in varying environments.
