Industrial Maintenance Technician

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, TX, responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced glass manufacturing environment. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, and supporting equipment setups and changeovers to minimize downtime. The technician inspects machinery, identifies root causes of equipment failures, and completes timely repairs while following safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.

This role works closely with production teams to improve equipment reliability, documents maintenance activities, and may assist with installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires working safely around industrial equipment, adhering to company policies, and supporting shift and emergency maintenance needs as required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in mechanical systems maintenance, including bearings, conveyors, pumps, and hydraulic or pneumatic components.
• Experience with basic electrical troubleshooting, including motors, sensors, control panels, and reading wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, use hand and power tools safely, and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Familiarity with industrial manufacturing environments, ideally in glass, metals, or similar production settings.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple maintenance tasks under time constraints.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams, and to document work orders accurately.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or electrical fields preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in varying temperatures, and to follow all safety, PPE, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems and basic computer literacy is beneficial.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts, occasional overtime, and respond to urgent equipment issues as needed.
