Compensation: $22–$26 per hour, based on experience, plus monthly performance bonuses
The OpportunityGaines Investment Trust is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tuscany Square Apartments in Dallas.
We're looking for a hands‑on professional who takes pride in quality work, enjoys solving problems, and is committed to providing excellent service to our residents.
What You’ll Do- Complete HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general repairs
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests
- Prepare apartment homes for new move‑ins
- Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Help maintain common areas and overall property appearance
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify practical solutions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑maintained community
- Participate in the rotational on‑call schedule for maintenance emergencies
- 2+ years of maintenance experience; multifamily experience preferred
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, or general maintenance
- HVAC certification required or currently in progress
- EPA certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Ability to commute within 20–30 minutes of the property
