The Maintenance Technician (Maintenance Mechanic) performs ongoing facility maintenance and repairs on production equipment in a fast-paced window and door manufacturing environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently, and supporting continuous production across multiple shifts and sites.

• Perform ongoing facility maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues on industrial equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) on machinery to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Repair and maintain plumbing, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in production operations.
• Read and interpret schematics to identify issues and implement effective repair solutions.
• Inspect buildings and production areas to confirm compliance with safety standards.
• Identify, document, and report major equipment breakdowns and repair needs to appropriate personnel.
• Support a fast-paced window and door manufacturing operation by ensuring equipment is reliable and safe.
• Collaborate with production teams across multiple shifts to prioritize maintenance tasks and respond to urgent repair requests.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and organized condition.

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience repairing industrial machinery.
• Hands-on experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance (PMs) in a fast-paced industrial setting.
• Solid understanding of facility and equipment safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple shifts and job sites as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Experience working in a window and door manufacturing or similar high-volume production environment.
• Comfort working with a variety of industrial tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
• Ability to communicate clearly with production and maintenance team members about equipment status and repair needs.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple maintenance tasks and priorities.
• Adaptability to work in different areas of the facility and at multiple job sites.

You work in a high-volume window and door manufacturing facility as part of a production team of approximately 400 employees across three shifts. The environment is fast-paced, with machinery and equipment running throughout the day and evening. One of the primary shifts for this role is 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed to support production demands.
