Reefer Technician

We are hiring a Reefer Technician at Salem Leasing. This is a great opportunity for a driven Diesel Refrigeration Technician with a "can do" attitude.

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions
• Review work orders and discuss work with service manager
• Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined
• Plan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals, and experience
• Communicate with driver to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems
• Comply with all safety, DOT and OSHA guidelines
• Adhere to company rules and regulations
• Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years recent medium/heavy diesel maintenance experience
• 1 year of 608 Refrigeration Technician experience
• Must have own hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• CDL license required
• Good driving record and proven work history
• Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold temperatures

• Full‑time; 8‑hour shift, 1st and 2nd shift, Monday–Friday
• Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
