Job Description

The role of Controls Installer entails working on-site under the direct supervision of the site superintendent, collaborating closely with a team of professionals. The primary objective is to facilitate the installation of low-voltage building automation and HVAC control systems within commercial structures. This position requires a high level of expertise, professionalism, and dedication to ensure efficient and reliable installation of complex building automation systems in military installations.

Your contributions are critical to the success of our projects, and we expect the highest standards of performance and safety.

• Travel to multiple states to perform work at various military installations.
• Install conduit up to 1" EMT & Rigid.
• Install low-voltage cabling and sensors.
• Install low-voltage control panels.
• Wire and terminate low-voltage control panels and associated devices.
• Minimum of 1-3 years in conduit and wire installation within a commercial setting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints.
• Willingness to travel full-time.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Clean background check.

• Experience in installation of commercial building automation and HVAC controls systems.
• OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certifications.
• Journeymen electrician or similar field plus three years of industry experience or ten-plus years’ experience in servicing mechanical equipment control systems in the HVAC industry.
• Systems integration and development work on Niagara / Tridium based systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of commercial controls systems, facilities management systems, energy management practices, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation, and servicing techniques.
• Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company ethically and professionally.
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
• Leadership skills to support Technicians working on complex, critical Building Automation equipment.
• PC experience required and ability to program facility automation controls related software.
• AutoCAD or similar experience is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
