GENERAL FUNCTION:

Duties and responsibilities for this position include providing Field Service Support for Advantor customers.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

SPECIFIC DUITES:

• Perform routine maintenance and service repairs for customers with technical, application and service related aspects of integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV and G .
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections per manufacturer’s recommendation on integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV and G .
• Provide system performance analysis on the IDS operational platform.
• Provide routine updates and implement software upgrades as needed.
• Provide informal end-user system operational instructions and support in conjunction with maintenance or service visits to customer locations.
• Gather information from field to duplicate any reported problems in lab environment.
• Assist with field installations of IDS, Access Control, CCTV and G  systems as required.
• Document all calls for service, preventive maintenance requirements and interface with technical support center as needed.
• Ensure all required service documentation is completed daily and delivered to Service Department as required.
• Provide general maintenance and safekeeping of company vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Provide 24 hours per day, 7 days per week emergency service capability as needed.
• On-call service as required.
• Up to 100% vehicle travel is required.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years related professional work experience
• Knowledge and hands on experience with electronic alarm systems, including CCTV equipment and associated hardware.
• Knowledge and hands on experience with electronic access control systems and associated hardware.
• Experience involving programming software associated with electronic alarm and access control systems.
• General knowledge and experience with latest Windows operating system, MS Office, and CRMs.
• General computer hardware knowledge.
• Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license for state of employment.

DESIRED

EXPERIENCE:

• G  experience is a plus.
• Security+ or CCNA certification is preferred.
• Two years of related college is a plus.

EDUCATION:

• Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology can be substituted for the experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required with 3 years of experience.

CLEARANCE:

• Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

• New Orleans ANG — Louisiana

COMPENSATION:

• $30.00 - $37.00 / HR based on experience
